being one of the most consistent breaks in the world is the perfect surf play ground. Especially with the nice warm water all year as well. The entrance and exit to the surf is sandy and rocks and or currents are very minimal. Our expert instructors will show you the way.
We have a staff of local surfers that grew up surfing this wave and are happy to get you going or further your progress. Whether you are beginning or wanting to refine your skill set, we highly recommend a 2 hour lesson. Or, if you are up to hitting the waves on your own, we also rent good quality boards of all sizes.
Dec Jan and Feb are the ideal learning months with waves still coming through on a regular basis, but with swell size much more ideal at 2 or 3 feet. Nice 3' to 6' faces depending where you decide to surf at Sunzal on any given day. Crowds are also much less this time of the year.
For those more adventurous, or just wanting to try different breaks, we also offer surf tours to other local surf spots. Of course, surfing tips from your guide in the water, are included for these more advanced trips as well.
